Two Reasons For Disease That May Surprise You…

Posted on 12. Sep, 2010 by Wendy in Health/Wellness

or offend you…which is not my intent!  I was very surprised to hear two doctor’s in the same week both state that they believe these two culprits are the underlying reason for disease or lack of health.

Ignorance and Laziness

“Ignorance Doesn’t Change the Facts”

Dr. Joel Robbins

I don’t know about you but I’ve been guilty of both…ignorance & laziness.  Knowing a truth and living it is a challenge for most of us. The good news is…

“A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”

Lao Tzu – Chinese Taoist Philosopher

So my question to you is…are you ready to begin with a single step?

Taking that single step of making a “choice” to begin living a life free of stress and disease isn’t always easy but it IS worth it!

If you don’t have a plan for staying healthy you are very likely going to end up spending that hard earned income on medications and hospital stays instead of lounging on the the beach….

illness - disease

In his book “Healthy Living” Dr. Joel Robbins, states,

“Since the beginning of time man has been engaged in the unending search for truth.  In order to live a life free of stress and disease, on whatever level – physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual – we must seek out truth and then take the responsibility of incorporating that truth into our lives.

We cannot seek an authority that teaches what we want to hear and expect to receive health and happiness if that authority does not teach ultimate truth”.

It’s so easy to become influenced by popular opinion and go with the flow. Investigate matters for yourself.

Don’t rely on so called “authorities”. Put EVERYTHING to the test.  It’s YOUR life…and YOUR responsibility to protect it!

Will you?

As for me, I’ve been lazy with my diet & exercise program all summer as a result of being buried in piles of  work and spending too many hours in front of my computer…I feel horrible as a result.  So today I took the first step on my journey to get back on track with my health and fitness plan and went to the store and purchased the ingredients to do a cleanse listed in the new book I purchased called  “Eat and Be Well” by Krystal L Gray C.C.N.

Krystal is a well known health care professional who has owned and operated a successful nutrition clinic for 22 years, Krystal is known for her no-nonsense approach to matters of health and nutrition, her book is a practical guide for taking responsibility for your own health.
