Where did the year go…it flew by in a blink and there are still so many things on my ‘To Do’ list that I’d like to cross off and end 2019 strong and happy with the results.
Woohoo…I did manage to lose 15 lbs which has been a challenge that I’ve failed to accomplish for the past couple of years. Thankful to achieve that goal before all of the cooking and baking for the holiday season starts!
Only two months left and 2019 is gone so here we go…
November Goals
I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve yet to succeed in creating a monthly budget that I can live with long term. That is about to change!
Creating a budget is #1 on my list because retirement is just a few short years away and the thought of living on a fixed income is scary.
We celebrated becoming completely debt free in January. That was a long overdue event. A story for another day…bottom line…I need to learn how to be a better money manager. That is a top priority.
Using a budget app makes things very easy to set up and track. Here is one that I like. http://www.everydollar.com
Succeeding in creating and sticking to a budget will in my mind automatically make goal #2 ‘STOP SPENDING’ a reality.
Last but not least…’Exercise Daily’ and get toned. I do a lot of walking and stair climbing on a daily basis but it doesn’t seem to help much with muscle tone. The thought of hitting another birthday with flabby muscle’s is unbearable. I’m planning to be lounging on a beach in February celebrating year 62 without the flabby arms!
I’ve found that adding exercise to my morning routine is the only way that I stay consistent. The progress is painfully slow, but I remind myself that I didn’t turn into a flabby bag of bones overnight so it will take time to see results.
I don’t know about you but once I set a strong intention to accomplish something it’s game on. I’m doing this!
Maybe I’ll even share the before and after pictures of the flabby arms just so you know that you’re never to old to get back in shape. 🙂
What would you like to accomplish before the end of 2019?
Cheers to a fabulous November!
