Today is National Vision Board Day.
You may say “Why should I create a Vision Board?”
Why Should I Create A Vision Board?
A vision board provides images to stimulate your mind and encourages you to focus on achieving your goals and desires.
It highlights the things that are most important to you and creates a daily visual reminder of your goals, where you want to be and who you want to become.
Life is busy for all of us and it’s easy to get sidetracked and discouraged. Your vision board is a constant reminder that appeals to you on both a conscious and subconscious level and can help keep your mind focused and headed in the direction that YOU choose for your life.
Creating a Vision Board
Creating a Vision Board is on my ‘To Do’ list but hasn’t made it to the checked off category. This is the weekend for that!
I have the board and some of the photos, but frankly, I find the hardest part of doing a vision board is making the time before you get started to gain clarity; what do you desire…what are your dreams…your goals…what do you want your life to look like…who do you want to become.
Those can be tough questions to get totally clear on. The picture is often a fuzzy blur in our head and not easy to clarify.
Sometimes it requires us to learn how to dream again!
It’s definitely worth the time and effort required, because…
A Man Without A Vision Is A Man Without A Future
I’ve asked a lot of people about their goals, hopes and dreams and have found that very few people can or will answer those questions. Why?
Why can’t we answer those questions?
Maybe this weekend is a good time to take some alone time (me time) and grab a cup of coffee, a notebook and start to dream on paper.
Get clear on what’s most important to you.
When you’re ready to start your Vision Board head on over to Pinterest for ideas and inspiration.
I’d love to see photos of your Vision Board so please post it on my Facebook page when it’s done. :
Cheers to creating YOUR beautiful life!
